I’m Still Not Too Enthusiastic About The Hulk Character

My kids just yesterday bought The Incredible Hulk DVD and I have to say it’s better than I thought it to would be. We find scientist Bruce Banner living in shadows, scrubbing the world for an antidote. However the warmongers who think of abusing his abilities will not leave him be, nor will his desire to make up with the only woman he has ever loved, Betty Ross.

The Incredible Hulk stars the forever powerful Edward Norton. It also stars the pretty Liv Tyler and every bit as solid Tim Roth and directed by the super Louis Leterrier. The movie earned a satisfactory One hundred and thirty four million at the ticket booth since it’s release thirteenth of June. It was penned by Zak Penn and Edward Harrison, produced by Avi Arad, Gale Anne Hurd and Kevin Feige.

I’m still not excessively crazy about the persona, but the picture is speedy, well acted, and captures that challenging comic book flavour. From its tropical anger management to a strictly platonic not so incredible hunk, this massive on the muscle mass and poor on the drama The Incredible Hulk Blu-ray is not exactly new and improved, but does work its own brand of differently conceived mega action magic. A satisfying thrill ride. In That Respect are a couple witty pieces, and the whole moves swiftly.

Still, even if there weren’t script and acting deficiencies — and there for sure are — the big problem with both Hulk movies is that the leading role is an improbable CG innovation. Tedious pacing and a quiet sound production only add to the CGI disaster imposed on what should have been a believable superhero produced with 21st century engineering.

Taken as a whole The Incredible Hulk is a worthwhile waste of a weekend. Unusual a project as it is, The Incredible Hulk in reality counts as something of a winner. The Incredible Hulk provides the action and excitement to delight comic book devotees and re-energize this failing franchise.
