Is it possible for a police officer to be heavy handed, and at the same time be ethical and do their job according to the law? Why or why not?
Possible? Yes, we see officers go to far from time to time. Its usually involving a high stress situation like a high speed car chase…the adrenaline fueled situations lead to rash decisions. Rash decisions lead to liability for the officers and the departments.
